 Jerry Leavitt
President
Bachelor of Science, Southwest Texas State University, 1976
After 8 years in the construction industry, Mr. Leavitt started as an independent software consultant for Business Software Inc. (1987) serving South Texas contractors with products such as Software Shop’s (TCS/TCM/StarBuilder) products, and worked with Concord Job Cost and Maxwell Systems contractor systems for several years.
Mr. Leavitt founded NEXTSYSTEMS in 1997, in Austin, TX. NEXTSYSTEMS has grown to over 300 Texas Construction Companies with over 2,500 users today.
Mr Leavitt is serving his second term as a Central Texas Subcontractors Association Board Member.

 Houston McClenny, CCIFP
Mr. McClenny attended Oklahoma State University. After college he moved to Dallas and worked as an accountant for a coffee import company, in1990, he moved to Austin. After 5 years of accounting for “The University of Texas”, he was hired by the Texas Veterinary Medical Association to implement their new SBT accounting software system. Once the transition to the new system was complete, Mr. McClenny spent the next three years implementing SBT accounting systems with a focus in the manufacturing industry.
Mr. McClenny joined NEXTSYSTEMS in 2000. Mr. McClenny received the accreditation from CFMA as (1) one of only 450 professionals as a Certified Construction Financial Professional in 2007.

 Lisa Garner
Custom Systems Solutions
Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, Texas A&M University, 1985
Mrs. Garner began work in the construction accounting software industry in 1991 with Business Software, Inc. In addition to ComputerEase, her experience includes Software Shop Systems’ TCM Software, QuickBooks Accounting Software and Maxwell Systems Software.
Mrs. Garner joined NEXTSYSTEMS in1997 as a systems trainer. She quickly mastered the ComputerEase Software then moved into programming using both Crystal Reports and C++ to provide our customers with a wide range of custom reporting solutions. Additionally, she performs our custom file conversions.

 Delissa McDonald
Senior Support

MBA in Organizational Management, 2000
Ms. McDonald has been with NEXTSYSTEMS since 2004. Prior to then she worked for Business Software Associates in Austin, TX, as business manager and later as the human resource manager.
Ms. McDonald originally started her career path with the goal of becoming a CPA, but soon missed the people interactions so she furthered her education to pursue a career in human resources. Ms. McDonald says NEXTSYSTEMS offers the best of both worlds, not only does she get to continue working in the accounting field, but she gets to work with all of our great customers.

 Nancy Perry
Support Desk
Nancy Perry (formerly Gonzalez) has worked in the construction industry since 1998. Her experience includes operations management for two large roofing contractors in the Austin area. At both companies ComputerEase was the software of choice. With hands on experience from “the other side of the fence” Mrs. Perry is able to bring a different perspective to our customer’s needs.
Nancy joined NEXTSYSTEMS in 2006.

 Jodie McAdams
Trainer
As one of the five founders of Allied Fire Protection, LP which began in 1998, she served as Vice President and Controller. As the company grew, the need for a sophisticated construction accounting software grew. Beginning January 2001, she implemented ComputerEase to keep up with the growing company. After nine years, and four office locations later, (Pearland, San Antonio, McAllen, and Fort Worth), she retired to pursue personal goals.
Currently, she is a part-time consultant/ trainer for NEXTSYTEMS who enjoys helping construction companies streamline their accounting systems.

 Ken Kemp
Marketing Director
Mr. Kemp started in the Alarm industry with National Powerhouse Emergency Networks. During Mr. Kemp’s 6 year career with Emergency Networks he gained experience in operations, commercial and residential consulting and was the West coast trainer for Sales and Marketing. After leaving Emergency Networks, Mr. Kemp worked with Seattle based D.P. Financial as Marketing Manager and was also part of their Project Development Team for 5 years.
Mr. Kemp has been with NEXTSYSTEMS for 8 years. With his knowledge of the construction industry he is a very strong asset to our consulting team.

 Rick Kimble

Mr. Kimble has worked as a independent software consultant for over 20 years. Mr. Kimble was a contractor prior to entering the construction software industry. He has worked with Concord Systems, GEAC Software Systems (TCS/TCM/StarBuilder), Maxwell Systems, as well as MC2 & ProEst Estimating Systems.
Mr. Kimble joined NEXTSYSTEMS as a independent software consultant in 2000. Mr. Kimble has been a great asset to NEXTSYSTEMS covering the North Texas area for us.

Owner of Donna Holiday Wesling, CPA
Mrs. Wesling has been NEXTSYSTEMS’ CPA since 1998. She was also Mr. Leavitt’s CPA during the 1980’s when he was a contractor & land developer. Mrs. Wesling has worked in local public accounting for her entire career and has been self-employed for most of the time since 1980.
Mrs. Wesling provides tax and accounting services to small businesses and investors, including many in the real estate and construction industries.
